So, I'm seeing this in a lot of my f-list, I'm giving it a try too!
I'm starting with 10 favorite tv shows, in random order
1) Friends
I'm re-watching this recently with a friend who hadn't seen it before, and I'm loving it all over again!! I still love Chandler, and I still love him with Monica, this tv show has been such a huge part of my life!! I remember watching it in middle school with my mom and my brother <3 I have so many fond memories associated with it, and I still quote it lots of times!!!
2) My Name is Earl
I still can't believe how badly they treated this tv show, leaving with such a cliffhanger, but it's still one of my favorite tv shows of all times, it made me laugh so much!!!! The characters were amazing, and the actors perfect!!!
3) Pushing Daisies
This one could be my favorite of all times. Lee Pace is wonderful, Olive was an amazing character, I loved the colors, how fast they talked, the voice of the narrator, it was the perfect tv show!!!!! So sad it ended so soon, I love it, but it could have been one of the greatest tv shows ever, but they canceled it too soon
4) Scrubs
A classic, I loved it from the start to its end, JD and Turk will always have a place in my heart (it's guy love!!!!), and Kelso, Cox, Ted, Carla, Elliot, Todd, the Janitor and the others will too!! I admit that I cried when I first saw the finale (of season 8). I also appreciated season 9 (Scrubs.2), even if the main characters weren't there, it still was fun, and the students brought a lot of freshness to the show
5) Boy Meets World
I used to love this one when I was younger, I'd love to see some episodes again, but they're almost impossible to find in italian!! I have this strange thing, I have no problem watching new tv shows in english, I actually prefer it, but with old tv shows?I love to watch the ones I used to love the way I used to watch them, when I didn't know english very well or didn't have internet to watch them in english. I feel this way for BMW, Ally McBeal, Blossom, BtVS and a lot more, it's a matter of habit, I'm used to watch them dubbed, it's not the same with the original voices. Anyway, I loved this tv show and had the biggest crush on Shawn <3
6) Lost
When I first saw the pilot, I stopped watching and didn't start again for 4 years. When season 4 started, a few friends of mine decided that I had to watch this and started watching it again from the beginnig to make me watch it, and I loved it!!! I still don't know how I feel about the finale, the show changed a lot after season 3, it seemed like a totally different tv show from season 1, but I still loved how it always surprised me, and will forever love Desmond and Penny and tear up a little at their reunion <3 It changed the way I watch tv shows, now I'm suspicious of everything and little can surprise me, because it tought me to imagine every possible scenario
7) Sherlock
God, I can't get enough of this tv show, and at the same time I'm so glad they keep it so short, I prefer 3 good episodes to a season with 20+ episodes with a lot of fillers or bad episodes. It got me to finally read all the Doyle's books on sherlock and I loved them, and I appreciate the tv show a lot more since reading them!!! Also, amazing cast, Benedict Cumberbatch is PERFECT as modern-sherlock!!!
8) The Simpsons
A classic, I know that it's now really bad, and has been going down since seasons 11-12, but I still love the old episodes and quote them with my friends all the time!! (Stupid Sexy Fladers!!!!). I know it's not the same it used to be, and I actually may like Futurama a little more than the Simpsons, but it would be really sad to see it end, it's been on forever!!!
9) How I Met Your Mother
I liked this show a lot more up to 2 years ago, I'm not really loving the latest 2 seasons, but I still love so much the earlier seasons!!! I love Marshall, and mostly his songs(Cat funeral is a classic!!!), I love everytime Robin Sparkle is on, I love Barney and Robin and if they don't end up together I'll be very mad, I don't ever care who the mother is at this point!!!
10) The Big Bang Theory
I still love this as the first day I watched it, Sheldon is one of the funniest characters ever, and I love Raj!!! Also, I love how they were able to introduce new characters and integrate them with the original main cast in a way that they fit perfectly and they give new life to the show!! And I love seeing Blossom on tv again! :P it's one of my childhood classics!!!!!
